8:00pm Wednesday: A disturbance to the south of us, moving north at around 10 mph, is allowing thunderstorms to form (this is all part of Monsoon Moisture being drawn up into Oregon). As the embedded disturbance continues north towards us, it "may" trigger thunderstorms across our area. Keyword is "may." In any case, small chances of thunderstorms will be possible through Thursday. Check out the radar. Lots of lightning. If you look to the south, you might see some distant flashes of lightning if the thunderstorms hold together (currently dissipating but may form again).
