Three storms, snow unlikely below 1000', cold next week!

Will it snow in Cottage Grove over the next anytime over the next 5-days? Highly unlikely at this time. Snow levels are expected to generally remain above 2000' but may dip to near 1200-1500' at times.

What to expect: A series of three storm systems will bring rain and mountain snow to the region beginning late tonight (Wed) or early Thursday morning through Sunday. Windy at times. Dry Monday onward.

RAIN/SNOW: Expect a combined 1-1.50" of rain and 1-2 feet of snow in the Cascades.

WIND: Gusts to 20 mph tonight-Thursday morning and possibly to 30 mph Friday afternoon through Saturday afternoon. No problems expected here at this time.

COLD NEXT WEEK: Temperatures will spiral downward beginning Monday as colder air moves in. Lows in the mid 20's are possible as early as Tuesday night and may continue through the following Saturday (Dec 17).
