Sunday May 5: Since Friday, weather stations in Cottage Grove have recorded 2.22" to 2.64" of rainfall (as of 3pm today) and this puts us at around 108% of normal to date. Western Oregon snowpack varies at 104-139% of average. Water-wise, we're doing great! Expect 1/4-1/2" of additional rainfall through Tuesday morning.

Dry weather Tuesday evening through the middle of the month. Summer-like temperatures Friday through the weekend: 80-85° expected! High temps in the 80's are normal for July and August, not May! We have to go all the way back to October 8 for when we last hit 80° or higher (84° at KNND Weather Station in downtown Cottage Grove - Oct 8, 2023).
