Through Monday, two more storms will bring a total of 1-2" of more rain then it's looking like a long dry/cold stretch Tuesday through probably the entire Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend. Tomorrow (Friday) 6am-3pm, could see some gusts to around 30 mph. Remember that 30 or 35 mph winds are not considered strong, but since the soils are already saturated from the recent rains, the weaker trees are easier to fall. Plus the trees that survived the ice storm are a little more compromised.
Wednesday onward, cold with probably freezing lows at night (watch for icy roads/sidewalks if we get below freezing). Night/morning fog too.
The last storm that the media made it seem like we were all going to die - highest wind gust in Cottage Grove was 34 mph at 4:44pm on Nov 19. Here at the coast there were some 55 mph winds and we got 50 mph at my house. So either I survived and am typing this or I died just like the media made it sound like and this is my ghost typing.
This seems about right:
