It's Wednesday (Mar 19)! Two back-to-back moderate to strong strength low pressure systems will impact entire PacNW today through Friday night or Saturday morning. A few showers may linger into Sat afternoon. Biggest impacts here are 1.00-1.75" of rainfall and breezy with 15-25 mph wind gusts (not strong winds). Snow levels today-Thursday vary at 2500-4000'.
Flooding like this past weekend is NOT expected, however soils are still saturated so streams / creeks /rivers can still run high and can see spots of minor flooding. As of 9am today, we've received 7.17"-8.58" of rainfall for March so far. Normal for the entire month is 5.21".
Saturday night through Tuesday looks dry here but on Sunday a weak low pressure system will cause some showers north of Eugene.
Another strong system (or two) is currently expected to affect the region next week from Wednesday (Mar 26) through the end of the month (Mon Mar 31). Some uncertainties right now but it looks showery, breezy, and thunderstorm chances at times. Some signals that the first 3-4 days of April may have lots of showers.
