Memorial Day Weekend Weather

May 27, 2022

Friday Weather Update: Tired of the rain yet? Continued cloudy/humid with some light showers around today (Friday).

Saturday: Rain develops between 5-8am then changes over to showers during the early afternoon. Thunderstorm chances 1-7pm. Total rainfall anywhere between 1/2" & 1.25" (lots of moisture being pumped into the region, that's why it's humid). Winds can gust up to 15-25 mph, at times as well, highest gusts 10am-5pm.

Sunday & Memorial Day: Scattered light showers (1/4" total or less). Don't be surprised if there's some extended dry breaks. Looks like both days will be mostly cloudy. It could get breezy at times on Sunday (winds 30 mph or less).

Snow levels: Above 6000' through Saturday, then above 4000' Sun/Mon.

Tuesday-Wednesday will be dry. Maybe a few showers next Thursday and/or Friday. The following weekend looks iffy at this time, especially Sunday (June 5).
