Lots of rain on the way + warmer temps!

Friday Feb 25: Clouds will be on the increase this evening and Saturday. Cold again tonight, 27-30, then well above freezing starting Saturday night. Morning lows this week: 27 Tuesday, 19 Wednesday, 18 Thursday, 21 this morning.

Rain will develop later Saturday afternoon or evening. A series of 4-5 storm systems will bring periods of rain to the region Saturday afternoon or evening through the end of next week. Total rainfall: Sat + Sun around 1/2", then 2-3" Monday through Friday. The rain could be heavy at times early next week. These will be mild storms, so snow levels 5000'+. Could get a little windy with gusts to 20 mph on Sunday and to 25 or 30 mph on Monday.

Since the start of the water year on Oct 1, we've recorded 24.27" of precipitation. Normal to date is 29.36, so we're sitting at 83% of normal.
