Lots of Rain coming in!

Stormy Weather Ahead Road Sign

Storm system with a good amount of moisture will bring 1.50-2.50" of total rainfall between this afternoon (Saturday) and Monday. No wind concerns (20 mph or less), a chance of a thunderstorm Sun/Mon. Snow levels above 4000-5000' through Sunday morning then will lower Sunday afternoon and bottom out at 2000-3000' Sunday night through Monday.

Next storm with a good slug of moisture then arrives Tuesday and will be low end strong. Some uncertainties, but it may stay rainy Wednesday through Saturday or Sunday (there will be some breaks). Total additional rainfall will easily reach 2-3". Wind gusts to 30 mph possible Tue+Wed, but no need to worry as these aren't damaging winds. However the soil will be very saturated so there's always a small chance that a weak tree will decide to fall from what otherwise isn't much of a wind gust.

Thanksgiving week looks dry Sunday through Thursday, then another 1-2 storms Friday (Nov 29) through Sun Dec 1. Odds learn towards December having 100-140% of normal precipitation (not a slam dunk, just odds).

Normal total precipitation for the entire month of November for CG is 6.92". As of 3:00pm today (Sat Nov 16), we're at 3.89-4.82" depending on which weather station you look at. At the expected 4-6" over the next 7-days and we'll no doubt exceed the monthly normal.
