Light rain will develop early tomorrow morning (Wednesday) and change to showers around late morning, continuing through the afternoon. Isolated showers will then occur Wednesday evening through Thursday morning. Total rainfall up to around 1/4". Mainly light breezes at 10 mph or less. It will also be cooler Wed/Thur. An extended period of dry weather can then be expected from Thursday evening, through the weekend, and into at least early or mid next week.
Hurricane Ian will slam into Florida late Wednesday or early Thursday morning and may create a log-jam which could delay storms affecting us until later next week. A more consistent rainy pattern is then expected to develop at the end of next week with multiple storms possibly affecting the PacNW (most data is supportive of this).
