By the way, we officially hit 80 yesterday afternoon (Thursday), today we'll be 20 degrees cooler - near 60. Sat-Mon, highs will be 49-54, lows low-mid 30's. Normal high and low is 60 & 37, respectively.
A few cold low pressure systems will affect the region through Monday; lowland snow (below 1000') is unlikely. Snow levels will fluctuate at 1500-2500', but "may" lower to "near" 1000' Saturday night and Sunday morning, and again on Monday morning. Cottage Grove is at 640-700'. Otherwise, expect light showers at times through Monday. Total rainfall 1/2" or less. Total snow: 2-6" at 2500' / 6-12" 3000-5000' / over 12" above 5000'.
Winds will mostly be light at 10 mph or less, but could see a few gusts at times to 20 mph.
Next storm then arrives on Wednesday with snow levels above 4000'. At this time, it's looking like storms may frequently affect the region through the end of the month.
