It's Tuesday! Warm/hot later this week / weekend (see temperature chart below). Might get a little interesting Saturday night through Monday morning with possibly scattered showers, isolated thunderstorms, and increased humidity for that "muggy" feel (this is also is the Labor Day holiday weekend). This is not 100% and there's lots of uncertainties with the exact storm track right now. Will put out an update Thursday evening or Friday morning.
NEXT WEEK: Typhoon Shanshan will affect Japan later this week / weekend. I mention this because starting the middle of next week, there's the possibility that a little bit of leftover moisture from this Typhoon may get dragged into the east to west flow. If this happens, it could potentially bring us some rain (not 100%, but keep this in mind). Also, I'm seeing signals that we may get into a more consistent wet pattern starting between Sept 6-10. This is not 100%, but if this does happen it's unclear whether this will be the kicker to switch us into a fall rainy pattern or if it will just be a hiccup then we go back to dry for a while.
