Happy Easter!

April 17, 2022

Happy Easter! Dry today. Tired of cold temps? Warmer this week than last week.

Rain will develop on Monday morning, but may be delayed until sometime during the afternoon if the system stalls a bit as latest data suggests (snow levels near 5000'). Showers Monday night and Tuesday (snow levels near 3500'). Expect 1/2-1" of total rain. Breezy on Monday with wind gusts up to 25 mph at times.

Next system causes rain to develop later on Wednesday morning, changing to showers Wed night and Thursday. Looks like 1/2-3/4" of total rainfall. Snow levels above 4000'. Breezy on Wednesday with wind gusts up to 20 mph.

An isolated shower or two Friday, then looks dry on Sat/Sun (at this time).

We had a lot of snow this past week - well over a foot across the local Cascades. Our region of the snow pack was at 64% on April 1, but is now at 99%! Since last Sunday, we received 1.66" of rainfall (3.33" so far for April, normal for the entire month is 3.61").

Easter last year was on April 4. We were dry with a high temp of 64 but the low that night was 26.
