Dry today, increasing chance of rain on Easter

April 8, 2023

Fortunately, it'll be dry for those of you participating in Easter egg hunts today. Although chances for light showers are small tomorrow morning (Easter Sunday), the more solid rain is expected to develop sometime between 11:00am and 2:00pm (approximate). Heaviest rainfall occurs Sunday evening through Monday (up to 3/4" during this time). Tuesday will have showers. Isolated showers on Wednesday. Total rainfall Sunday through Wednesday looks to be around 1". Breezes will mainly be at 15 mph or less. Snow levels above 6000' through Monday evening, then 2000-2500' Tuesday, and 1000-1500' Wednesday.

Wednesday night through next weekend looks dry right now with a decent warming trend and plenty of sunshine. In fact, temperatures next weekend may be the warmest so far this year - will we hit 70°? In March, there was one day at 66° (18th); so far this month the highest temperature has been 58°.
