Cold nights ahead!

February 20, 2022

Sunday Feb 20: Cold, modified Arctic air will settle into the region over the next 36 hours. Remember your animals, if it's too cold for you, it's too cold for them! Scattered light showers will continue through Monday with less than 1/4" of additional rainfall. Snow levels above 1500' today, 1000-1500' Monday, 700-1000' Monday night. But by this time little moisture will be left for anything more than some flakes here in Cottage Grove. Dry Tuesday and Wednesday. Could see a few flurries Thursday morning. No wind issues, less than 15 mph.

High temps in the 40's today (Sunday), then upper 30's to low 40's Mon-Thurs. Low temperatures 27-30 Monday night, 15 Tuesday night, around 20 Wednesday night, 25 Thursday night, 25-30 Friday night. Next chance of rain may be Saturday night. As a whole, it looks like March may have near normal precipitation, but it's unlikely that we'll be able to make up our precipitation deficit of 5".
