Thursday: Enjoy the "cooler" high temperatures over the next few days because another heat wave is just around the corner!

Previous thinking was that high pressure wouldn't be as strong and low pressure systems north of us would push a little closer to our area (which would keep high pressure in check). This is no longer the case; high pressure is now expected to be the dominant weather feature from Sunday through the end of next week and possibly into the following weekend. Hottest days look to be next Tuesday through Thursday.

When will it cool down? Seeing signs that after next week, high temps will still be above normal but not be as hot (highs upper 80's-low 90's vs mid-upper 90's). Who's ready for fall?
