Above Normal Temperatures

July 11, 2021

Sunday July 11: Above normal high temperatures will continue through Tuesday or Wednesday before a mid/late week cool down occurs. High temps Thurs-Fri will be near the normal of 82. Overnight lows will bottom out at 50-54, which is right at the seasonal average.

Bohemia Mining Days (Sat/Sun) will probably have high temps in the low-mid 80's. In fact, Saturday's looking like low 80's.

Check out temperature predictions by a couple of the computer models. Remember, these are just models. No rain in sight, but the good thing is high temps will cool down to near normal starting Thursday.

FIRES: Jack Fire east of Roseburg poses NO THREAT to our area and is currently at over 11,000 acres. The Bootleg Fire, northeast of Klamath Falls, is raging out of control at 144,000 acres. This fire may burn until the rainy season kicks in and puts it out. Unless winds shift or a new local fire develops, I don't see any issue with smoke across our area.
