Yup, it's Monday! Due to the rainfall, the FIRE DANGER has been reduced to moderate. This didn't put out any large fires, but definitely gave firefighters the upper hand. A taste of fall will be in the air Wed-Sat: High temps will be around what we typically see in late September AND we'll have light showers (Wed night through Saturday, around 1/4" total or so). Strong winds aren't expected and thunderstorm chances are extremely small. Strong high pressure may build in Aug 29-Sept 5 and highs of 85-90 may return (not set in stone).
