Deadly Cold Next Few Nights - Bring Pets Inside!

• It was 16-17° last night / this morning throughout Cottage Grove and Creswell. Expect 20-24° tonight, 23-27° Monday night, 26-30° Tuesday night, 27-31° Wednesday night, then the BIG THAW Thursday night with lows above 37° and above 40 both Friday / Saturday night!
• NEXT CHANCE OF RAIN: Clouds increase on Thursday then several low pressure systems with a good amount of moisture start coming through Thursday night through next weekend and into the following week. Around 2-3" of rain over the next 10-days looks like a good bet.
• SNOW: Lowland snow chances may also be possible next Sunday through the following Tuesday or Wednesday (Feb 2-5). This is highly dependent on how the pattern / cold air aligns with low pressure systems and moisture. As I always say, lowland snow predictions are most accurate 12-36 hrs in advance and no more than 48 hrs. Many ingredients need to come together just right for snow to fall below 1000' and the atmosphere changes minute by minute. If things do align just right, we could see anywhere from a dusting to 2-4". More on this throughout the week!
