Lows mostly below freezing next 10-days...

January 19, 2025

It's deadly cold for pets to be left outside at night! Even outdoor non-heated fully enclosed shelters aren't enough to allow animals to maintain their body heat. Lows tonight 23-25°, then 26-29° both Tuesday / Wednesday nights. Continued at or below freezing thereafter...

  • NEXT 10-days (through Jan 28-29) will be much colder than normal with most nights at or below freezing. NEXT Sunday and into the following week (Jan 26 - Feb 1) looks to have another round of cold air with a day or two of lows possibly as low as 23-25 but most of that week (Jan 26-Feb 1) will continue to be below freezing at night. Normal high/low is 49/34.
  • Rain? Looks dry (right now) through Jan 29-30, then maybe some rain on Jan 30 or Jan 31 BUT we'll all have to do the rain dance which is embarrassing to watch. By the way, so far for January area weather stations have recorded 2.80"-3.97" of rainfall. Normal for the whole month is 6.73".
  • SNOW? Some of your apps might be showing snow here on Thursday or Friday. A weak, moisture-starved low pressure system will be passing through. Snow or rain unlikely. Could see some flurries though. This is NOT a BMTP emergency (Bread, Milk, TP).
