Congratulations, we all survived the holidays! Blah weather over the next 7-10 days. BOTTOM LINE is that, except for a hiccup of light rain on Friday, dry weather is expected with high pressure through sometime around Jan 18-20 then we may start to get back into the groove of a wet pattern.
Saturday through the end of next week will likely have a mix of fog, passing clouds, and some sunshine (especially afternoons). There's also a chance that the fog could burn off to a low cloud deck that lingers around through most or all of the day or that the low cloud deck hangs around with not so much fog (could affect how much sun we get). This is typical when we get moderate to strong high pressure staying around for several days. It acts like a lid and traps the moisture in the valleys with no place to go except form into a low cloud deck.
Fog and clouds will mess with predicted temperatures. Highs will vary at 45-55 and lows will vary at around 27-33. This means there's the possibility of some ice late nights/early mornings - especially Saturday night through Thursday of next week.
