Lots of Rain Ahead, Dry for Trick - or - Treating?

October 24, 2024

Thursday: Ready for some good rainfall? Lots of rain coming in Friday night through Monday. Looks like an easy 1.5-2". Snow levels above 5000' through Sunday, then 3800-4500' Monday. No wind concerns, ~15 mph or less. Freezing lows likely tonight then again Mon/Tue nights. Tuesday looks dry then rain chances exist between noon on Wednesday (Oct 30) to sunset on Halloween (Oct 31). Trick-or-Treating looks dry (at this time) but cold (temps in the mid-upper 40's) with light breezes. Questions exist Fri Nov 1 through Mon Nov 4 as three scenarios can play out: dry, showers here and there, or decent storm with rain/breezes. This will be sorted out over the next few days. NOT THIS SUNDAY BUT NEXT SUNDAY (NOV 3) clocks go back one hour.
