Friday 3:30pm Weather Update: ALL CLEAR: NO strong wind concerns (breezes 15 mph or less)! Another inch to inch and a quarter of rain and showers through Saturday night. Maybe an early morning shower on Sunday, the rest of the day looks dry. High snow levels (above 8000') = "warmer" rain below will cause some snow melt and add runoff to the rivers. Rivers will be running fast and high, but significant flooding highly unlikely.
Monday and most of Tuesday will probably be dry before a colder storm brings in more rain Tuesday night through Wednesday (check out the predicted temperatures for next week). Early rainfall predictions with this storm ranges from 3/4" to almost 2". This storm will be a little breezier with wind gusts to 25 or 30 mph at times but strong winds not expected here in Cottage Grove (winds of these speeds do not cause damage).
