We've got 44 days until the Autumnal Equinox (Sept 22, astronomical) BUT the Meteorological Fall occurs on September 1st (tied to temperatures). Below, check out the temperatures over the next few days. It's expected to get hot again next week, but there "may" be a change in the pattern which could cause those predicted temps to be a little cooler (we'll see). At this time, the last 10-days of August will probably have temperatures closer to normal. Local fire danger is high.
For today (Tuesday), a small chance of a shower or thunderstorm exists to about midnight. Thereafter, I don't see any rain in sight. Starting to see more low pressure systems across the North Pacific which is, partly, in response to the sun becoming more angled. It's also a sign that fall will soon be right around the corner.
